Riftbound Gen Con 2026 is happening July 30 through August 2 in Indianapolis, and if you have never worked out where a con booth actually is before, that uncertainty is the whole problem. You do not want to wander Hall H for twenty minutes looking for a table. Here is exactly where to go, what is on offer, and how to get the exclusive promo card without wasting a day of the convention finding out the hard way.

When and Where
Riftbound runs at Gen Con from Thursday July 30 through Sunday August 2, 2026, at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 S. Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225.
Two locations matter:
- Riftbound booth: Hall H, #2019: demos, the promo card, and general Riftbound presence
- Play Area: Events Hall A: where the scheduled sealed events and Nexus Night happen
Write both down before you leave your hotel. They are not the same room, and Gen Con’s floor is large enough that guessing costs you real time.
The Riven, Shattered Promo Card
The card everyone at booth #2019 will be after is Riven, Shattered. It is not Ahri, Alluring, which is the separate Gen Con promo tied to a different event, so do not go in expecting the wrong card.
To get it, complete a Demo or a Play Area event at booth #2019. You get one copy per person, and there is no purchase requirement attached, just participation. Events at Gen Con
The schedule runs across all four days, and one day matters more than the rest.

Friday July 31 is worth circling twice over, because it is also Vendetta’s global launch day. Anyone playing the 2v2 Sealed event that evening is among the first people anywhere to play with Vendetta cards in a sanctioned event, not just at home.
Sunday’s Multi-Set Sealed is genuinely new. I did not realize until researching this that it is the first confirmed event mixing cards from multiple Riftbound sets into a single sealed pool, rather than restricting you to one set’s card list. If you enjoy sealed formats, this is not something you can currently play anywhere else.
Feature Matches with Riftbound influencers are running throughout the weekend, though exact times had not been published as of this writing.
Meet and Greets
Lua Stardust, Anna Margaret, and Zabracus will be at Gen Con for card signings and Legends chat sessions. If you follow Riftbound content creators, this is your chance to meet them in person rather than just watching from a stream.
Merch Available at Gen Con
None of the following is exclusive to the convention. You can pick any of it up online too, so there is no need to overpack your suitcase if you would rather ship it home.

If you want to walk into Friday’s launch already holding physical Vendetta cards rather than waiting on a preorder, this is how you get there.
Vendetta Vault Bundle
The Vault Bundle is the pick if you want a mix of packs and bonus material in one box rather than committing to a single champion matchup.
Secret Garden Box Set
The Secret Garden box set is confirmed for sale at Gen Con, and it is aimed squarely at Lillia and Ivern fans and Unleashed alt art collectors. Confirmed contents so far: Bashful Bloom, an alt art Lillia Legend, Green Father, an alt art Ivern Legend, an Ultrasoft Poro alt art piece, and five alt art tokens. Additional contents are still to be confirmed.

Is Gen Con Worth Going To?
If you are anywhere within reasonable travel of Indianapolis and you play Riftbound, yes. Riftbound Gen Con 2026 lines up with the Vendetta launch, hands out a promo card you cannot get any other way, and is the first place the Secret Garden box set goes on sale. That combination will not repeat until the Regional Championship in December, and that event is a very different, much higher stakes environment.
If Gen Con is out of reach this year, none of this content disappears. The promo card will likely surface on the secondary market eventually, Vendetta releases everywhere on July 31 regardless, and the Secret Garden set will get its own buying guide the moment pricing is confirmed. You are not missing your only chance, just the most convenient one.
