Riftbound Merch Store Drawing: How It Works and Current Dates

Riftbound Merch Drawing Guide featured image with Radiance-themed artwork, gold title text, and bottom labels for how it works, dates, and past drawings.

The Riftbound merch store drawing is how Riot sells limited sealed product directly to players. Instead of a first-come-first-served checkout that sells out in seconds, you register during a short window and get randomly selected for the chance to buy. This page covers how the system works, the current Vendetta drawing dates, and what to expect if you are entering for the first time.

Page last updated: June 2026. Vendetta drawing dates confirmed. This page is updated each set release with current drawing information.

Current Drawing: Vendetta (July 6-8, 2026)

The Vendetta drawing is the active drawing. Registration opens July 6 at playriftbound.com and closes 48 hours later on July 8. If you want to enter, this is the window to do it.

Registration window: July 6-8 only. There is no way to enter after the window closes. Set a reminder now.

Showdown Deck decklists: Decklists for the Zed vs Shen Showdown Deck will be published in the Vendetta Overview article after July 17. This page will link to them once live.

If you want to secure Vendetta product at launch, TCGPlayer and Amazon will have listings from retailers as well.

How the Riftbound Merch Store Drawing Works

The Riftbound merch store drawing replaced the original first-come-first-served checkout after the Spiritforged preorder sold out almost instantly and a lot of players missed out. The drawing system gives everyone the same window to register, then randomises who gets to buy. Here is how each step works.

Step 1: Make Sure You Have a Riot ID

All purchases through the Riot Merch Store require a Riot account. If you play League of Legends or any other Riot game, you already have one. If not, create a free account at riotgames.com before the drawing opens. If you have an account but cannot remember your login, use Riot’s account recovery tool now rather than the morning registration opens.

Step 2: Check Your Email Settings

If you are selected, Riot sends your purchase link by email. That link expires in 24 hours. Before any drawing opens, add riotgames.com to your safe senders list and make sure the email on your Riot account is one you actually check. Getting drawn and missing the email because it landed in spam is the most avoidable way to lose your spot.

Step 3: Register During the Window

Go to playriftbound.com when the drawing opens and register for each product you want to enter. Each product typically has its own separate entry. Log in with your Riot ID and submit your entry any time during the 48-hour window. There is no advantage to entering the moment registration opens. It is a random draw, so earlier entry does not improve your odds.

Step 4: Wait for the Selection Email

After the registration window closes, Riot runs the draw and begins sending purchase links by email over the following days. If your link arrives, you have 24 hours to complete the purchase. When selected players let their window expire, Riot draws new names from the remaining pool and sends out fresh links. That process continues until stock runs out, so it is worth keeping an eye on your inbox for a few days after the selection date even if you do not hear back immediately.

Step 5: Complete Your Purchase

Click the link in the email, log in to the Riot Merch Store with your Riot ID, and complete checkout. The link is personal to your account and will not work for anyone else. You must buy all drawn items or none. Fulfillment begins the week before launch and Riot aims to deliver by release day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does entering early improve my chances?

No. The draw is random across all entries received during the window. Entering on day one gives you the same odds as entering on day two.

Can I enter for multiple products?

Yes. Each product in the drawing has its own separate entry. You need to register individually for each one you want to enter.

What happens if I am selected but miss the purchase window?

Your spot goes back into the pool and Riot draws another name. You cannot reclaim it. Set your email notification on the day selection emails are due so you do not miss it.

Are Champion Decks in the drawing?

Not for Vendetta. Champion Decks will be sold via a separate on-sale that Riot will announce closer to launch. Watch @playriftbound on X for that announcement.

Is there a Catch-Up pool?

Riot introduced a Catch-Up pool for the second Unleashed drawing. Players who had entered the Spiritforged, Lunar Revel, and first Unleashed drawings without being selected were placed into a smaller secondary pool alongside the main draw. It is not yet confirmed whether this will continue for Vendetta. This page will be updated when Riot confirms the Vendetta drawing structure.
