The Riftbound Unleashed merch store drawing is your chance to grab official Unleashed product directly from Riot, but the entry window is just 48 hours, and the drawing opens at 9am Pacific on April 13, 2026, and entries close at 9am Pacific on April 15. If you miss it, you miss it. Here’s exactly how the system works and what you need to do to get your name in.
Both Unleashed drawing windows are now closed. See below for details on future drawing opportunities and where to buy Unleashed products now.

About the Unleashed Merch Drawing (Now Closed)
The information below explains how the drawing system worked. Both windows have now passed. It is kept here for reference, and because the same drawing format will be used for future sets including Vendetta.
What Is the Riftbound Merch Drawing?
This isn’t a standard online shop where you just click “buy.” Riot moved away from first-come-first-served sales after the Spiritforged preorder sold out almost instantly and caused a lot of frustration. Instead, they now use a drawing system.
Here’s how it works in plain terms: you sign up during a 48-hour window for the chance to purchase. Riot then randomly selects winners from everyone who entered. If your name is drawn, you get an email with a personal purchase link. That link is only valid for 24 hours, so you need to act quickly once you hear back.
If you don’t get drawn in the first round, all is not lost. When selected players don’t complete their purchase in time, Riot draws new names from the remaining pool and sends out fresh links. That process continues until stock runs out.
Good to know: You can only be drawn to receive one of each specific product. The draw is random, but Riot does run checks to filter out fraudulent or bot accounts before selecting winners.
When Did the Unleashed Drawing Run?
According to the official 2026 Riftbound Roadmap, the first drawing opened at 9am Pacific on April 13, 2026 and closed at 9am Pacific on April 15. A second drawing ran May 18-20. Both are now closed.

What Products Were in the Unleashed Drawing?
The first drawing covered Unleashed sealed product direct from Riot. The second drawing included Unleashed Boosters plus Origins Boosters, Spiritforged Boosters, and Proving Grounds at lower quantities. All items from the second drawing shipped together in a single order.
Step-by-Step: How the Drawing Worked
The steps below show how the drawing entry process worked. The same system is expected to apply to future drawings for Vendetta and beyond.
Step 1: Make Sure You Have a Riot ID
All Riftbound merch purchases require a Riot account. If you play League of Legends or any other Riot game, you already have one. If not, you can create a free account at riotgames.com. Make sure you can actually log in before the next drawing opens. If you’ve forgotten your credentials, use Riot’s account recovery tool.
Step 2: Check Your Email Settings
If your name is drawn, Riot sends a purchase link by email. That link expires in 24 hours. The worst thing that can happen is that you get drawn and the email ends up in your spam folder. Before any drawing opens, add riotgames.com to your safe senders list and check that the email address on your Riot account is one you actually check regularly.
Step 3: Watch for the Official Drawing Links
When Riot opens a drawing, they post entry links on the official Riftbound site and social channels. Follow @playriftbound on X or check the Riftbound announcements page directly.
Step 4: Register Your Entry
Click the entry link for each product you want to enter. Each product typically has its own separate entry link, so you need to register for each one individually. The process just requires logging in with your Riot ID. There’s no advantage to entering the moment it opens, since it’s a random draw, not first-come-first-served.
Step 5: Wait for Your Email
After the entry window closes, Riot runs the draw and begins sending purchase links by email over the following days. Keep an eye on your inbox. If your link arrives, you have 24 hours to complete the purchase.
Step 6: Complete Your Purchase
Click the link in the email, log in to the Riot Merch Store with your Riot ID, and complete checkout. The link is personal to your account, so it won’t work for anyone else.
Didn’t get drawn? Keep checking your inbox over the following days. Riot continues drawing new names as unclaimed purchase windows expire, so there’s a chance you’ll hear back even if you weren’t in the first wave.
The Catch-Up Pool (Second Drawing)
The second Unleashed drawing introduced a Catch-Up pool. Riot tested this for the first time and is expected to continue using it in future drawings.
The drawing splits into two separate pools:
- Main pool: Everyone who enters is included here. This is the standard draw.
- Catch-Up pool: A smaller secondary pool for players who entered three previous drawings and were not selected in any of them.
To qualify for the Catch-Up pool, all four of the following must apply to your Riot ID:
- You entered the Spiritforged drawing
- You entered the Lunar Revel Bundle drawing
- You entered the first Unleashed drawing (April 13-15)
- You were not selected in any of those three drawings
If all four conditions apply, you are automatically eligible for the Catch-Up pool when you enter the next drawing. Being in both pools does not mean you get drawn twice for the same item. It simply gives you an additional chance at selection, separate from the main draw.
Not sure if you qualified? Check your Riot account email history. If you received entry confirmation emails for all three of those drawings but did not receive a purchase link for any of them, you were likely eligible for the Catch-Up pool.
What Comes Next: Vendetta Drawing
Vendetta is the next Riftbound set, releasing July 31, 2026. Riot is expected to run a merch store drawing for Vendetta using the same system described above. No drawing dates have been confirmed yet.
