What We Know About Radiance
Riftbound Radiance has set code RAD. Base set size: 167 cards (confirmed from Seraphine’s collector number, RAD 138/167). Total cards including overnumbered showcase cards: 180. There are 60 Showcase cards in the set and nine Champion Legends.
Radiance is also the first Riftbound set to release simultaneously in English, Chinese, and French on the same day.
Confirmed Champions (5 of 9)
Five of the nine Radiance legends have been confirmed from official Riot reveals. The remaining four slots are still unknown ahead of preview season.
Seraphine
Seraphine is a Champion Unit with the Piltover trait and a yellow domain. Her card is Not Alone. When played or exhausted, she puts a 1 Might Recruit unit token into your base, and she gains +1 Might for each other exhausted unit you control. She introduces the new Recruit keyword to Riftbound.
Evelynn
Evelynn is a Champion Unit with a Chaos/purple domain. Her card is In Control. Full ability text will be confirmed at preview season. She is one half of the Radiance Showdown Deck alongside Seraphine.
Ekko
Ekko is a Champion Unit with a blue domain. His card is Ingenious. Full details confirmed at preview season.
Jarvan IV
Jarvan IV is confirmed on the Radiance box art. Domain and card details will follow at preview season.
Ziggs
Ziggs is confirmed on the Radiance box art alongside Jarvan IV. Domain and card details will follow at preview season.
Four champions still unknown. Radiance has nine legend slots. Seraphine, Evelynn, Ekko, Jarvan IV, and Ziggs account for five. The remaining four will be revealed during preview season starting September 21.
New Keyword: Recruit
Recruit is a new keyword introduced in Radiance, confirmed on Seraphine’s card reveal. Here is what we know so far.
When Seraphine is played or exhausted, she generates a Recruit unit token with 1 Might and places it at your base. Her own Might also scales upward based on how many other exhausted units you control.
The full Recruit rules text and how it interacts with other cards will be confirmed at preview season when the official rules are published. We will add a link to the dedicated Keyword Index once Recruit has been officially defined.
Not fully confirmed yet. The Recruit keyword comes from Seraphine’s card reveal only. The complete rules text and any additional Recruit cards in the set are not yet public. Do not assume the full scope from a single card.
Showdown Deck: Evelynn vs Seraphine
The Radiance Showdown Deck pairs Evelynn against Seraphine. This follows the same format as previous Showdown Decks: two pre-built decks designed to play against each other straight out of the box.
Pricing has not been announced yet. Previous Showdown Decks have been priced at $34.99 (Jinx vs Viktor) and $34.99 (Lee Sin vs Fiora), though the Vendetta Showdown Deck launched higher. We will update this section when Radiance product pricing is confirmed.

Fizz: reported but unconfirmed. One source has reported Fizz appearing on the Radiance display box. This comes from a single outlet and has not been independently confirmed by Riot or by a second source. We are not listing Fizz as a confirmed Radiance champion until additional confirmation exists. We will update this page if that changes.
Pre-Rift and Launch Format
Radiance Pre-Rift events run from October 16 to 18 at local game stores. Nine Pre-Rift champion decks are confirmed for Radiance, which is an increase from previous Pre-Rift formats. Full details on which champions get Pre-Rift decks will come at preview season.
Global release is October 23 2026. Paris Games Week runs October 22 to 25 alongside the launch, with Riftbound demos, a Le Rift Tour finals event, a shop, and free play on site. It also marks the point at which the French version of Riftbound reaches full release parity with English and Chinese.
Radiance is the first Riftbound set to launch simultaneously in English, Chinese, and French.
Where to Buy Radiance Products
