Riftbound Domains Explained Domains are the six colour types in Riftbound. Every card belongs to one or more Domains and your deck is built around one or two. Choosing the right Domain is one of the most important decisions you’ll make as a player.
Fury (Red) Fury is the aggressive Domain. Fury cards hit hard and hit fast. Units tend to have high Might and keywords like Assault that deal extra damage when attacking. Fury decks aim to overwhelm opponents quickly before they can set up defences. Best for players who like aggressive, fast paced play.
Calm (Green) Calm is the endurance Domain. Calm cards focus on healing, growing stronger over time and outlasting opponents. Units tend to be tough and hard to kill. Calm decks play a longer game, recovering from damage and wearing opponents down. Best for players who like a steady, defensive approach.
Mind (Blue) Mind is the control Domain. Mind cards use Spells, tricks and disruption to outsmart opponents. Rather than winning through brute force, Mind decks counter enemy plays and manipulate the flow of the game. Best for players who enjoy outwitting opponents.
Body (Orange) Body is the strength Domain. Body cards feature powerful high Might Units that dominate in combat. Body decks win through sheer fighting power, putting unstoppable Units onto Battlefields and daring opponents to stop them. Best for players who like straightforward powerful play.
Chaos (Purple) Chaos is the high risk high reward Domain. Chaos cards have unpredictable effects that can swing the game dramatically in either direction. Chaos decks are exciting and explosive but require careful management. Best for experienced players who enjoy gambling on big payoffs.
Order (Yellow) Order is the control and protection Domain. Order cards focus on consistency, protecting your Units and controlling Battlefields methodically. Order decks are reliable and hard to disrupt. Best for players who like careful structured play.
Which Domain should beginners choose? Fury or Body are recommended for beginners. Both are straightforward — play Units, attack Battlefields, win fights. Avoid Chaos until you understand the game better as its unpredictability can work against you.
Can I mix Domains? Yes — most competitive decks use two Domains. The key is making sure both Domains support the same strategy. Fury and Body work well together as both are aggressive. Mind and Order work well together as both focus on control.
What are Allegiance bonuses? Some cards have Allegiance abilities that trigger when you have enough cards from the same Domain in play. The more you commit to one Domain the bigger the bonus. This rewards focused single Domain deck building.
